1 Corinthians 5:13
9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. 11 But [f]actually, I wrote to you not to associate [g]with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one. 12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13 But those who are outside, God [h]judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.
People want to holler about women being pastors…deal with the fornicators first! The people who ‘hug’ in church who are doing it with lust in their hearts.
Deal with the ones who are still married, separated and having sexual relations with someone else.
Deal with the fornicators first. The molestors, the rapists, the people who hit their spouses.
Deal with that in house!
Make sure NO ONE in a leadership position is doing any of this.
For it is funny how the pastor and other ‘elders’ are hard on the congregation, yet corruption in the leadership?
This Francis, archbishop dude?
I mean if we can ream Bill Cosby just from the number of witnesses alone, i am sorry dude-we gonna have to find another way to deal with this.
Who WANTS to give up power?
I would be deeply hurt someone thinks of me in that way!
I wouldn’t want to be there anyway!
Someone else can do this! I’m out of here!
(May i remember this much later!)
Just the ones we know without doubt!
The ones where the congregation is filled with their out-of-wedlock children!
This is why it is best to follow protocol, i do not want to be in a church where a leader committed this stuff, never apologized, never got suspended, never set down?
and publicly apologized too! Publicly admitting fault to the ENTIRE congregation!
Politicians use to do this! For it was the best option sometimes (i kinda miss those days!) 😀
Most were forced apologies…yet still.
No pain, no gain! Right?
Its also easy for someone (or a lot of people) to lie about another in this manner and leaving is seen as an admission of guilt.
Deal with it as best you can in the Lords way and step off.
That is what a ‘Christian’ would do!
For a true leader, already knows how easy it is to be blamed for everything and really doesn’t want any part of it.
Those who want it? Rush to power/
Rush to lead?
Have no idea or think they cannot be touched!
Who wants to lead in today’s world?
Believing all it takes is one good person…
One good leader.
The people don’t really want that.
If the people really wanted such, then they would act like it everyday, everywhere, they would be so themselves.
Too many churches have such immorality in itself…tis is why they are NO LONGER the body of Christ! No matter WHO says otherwise!
i have found a church without such obvious immorality (hallelujah), yet filled with other crazy things like:
“That church is such a SMALL church! Ours is bigger!” i guess that is arrogancy, misplaced pride.
and other such stuff.
Tired of it, immensely so (i pray Lord, “Help me with my pride and arrogance!”)
i remind myself that i’m like Martin Luther (with the Gift and Fruit of Faith) (for it seems Martin was missing that in some places)
We forget that it is ok, for us to meet together…why assume its something bad? Why keep it a secret?
It is and it isn’t.
People of like minds have the basic human right to come together.
Losing power, afraid much? (my Yoda speak) 😀
Can’t no one take what the Lord has given…
Material stuff can be replaced, much more difficult to replace love, joy, kindness and gentleness. (its fun keeping it though!) 😀
Remove the wickedness within your own heart…by following 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Reading the bible thru this second time around, i am seeing the build up to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
The Bible is a guide…to the Holy Spirit, do not abandon the bible once receiving the Holy Spirit, relying on Him…for our minds still require help, in a land of iniquity…(our bodies, our earth).
There is no Holy Spirit without Yeshua and we lose Yeshua without the Holy Spirit, for hard-heartedness sets in.
Yeshua is the door to the Father, closer than ever and the door to the Holy Spirit.
Ty Lord! For removing wicked desires from our hearts, from our minds! In Yeshua’s holy name, amen!
